I am going down this rabbit hole headfirst. Sig Sauer P320 Nitron Carry. This was a LE (law enforcement) trade-in. Don’t be scared of these, usually really low round count on these guns. Trust me, this thing looked pristine, very little wear on the gun whatsoever. One 15-round mag and factory Sig box.
Now let’s talk about the problems Sig has or hasn’t had with this gun. Whether you believe it or not, you have to ask if there was no real issue, why offer up a voluntary repair service free of charge for the pistol. Talking with people I know in the industry, they still would not second-guess the safety of a P320, and till it proves me wrong, I won’t either. I did a couple of small tests on my gun, even insulting it by calling it a Glock wannabe, and it never went off on the Glock or me.
Now, first if you don’t know me very well, well I am not going to leave this thing stock looking very long and well have a few none gunsmith needed upgrades. First upgrade was from Sig with their Flat Trigger, Tyrant Designs Takedown lever, then I changed out the grip module with a Wilson Combat WCP320 Tan grip module, all items purchased at Midway USA. https://www.midwayusa.com/
I will say from all of my research that Sig may not have handled this right but, sometimes good companies trip, this kind of trip may or may not have cost lives and that is a big deal. Do I think the gun had an issue in the begging maybe, do I trust the 320 I own yes and honestly the trigger feels the same as my 365 so there is that and I love my 365.
