First Camp of 2023

It is time to put all the new gear to the test. I will be headed to Montgomery Bell State Park near Dickson TN this weekend. Will be rolling out all the latest gear and seeing if it all performs as it should. I am pumped and nervous all at the same time. Plan on rolling in around 2-3pm and taking my time setting it all up. On another note I camped at Montgomery Bell back in the late 80’s so it will be good to set foot in an old campground from back in my Scouting days. Stay tuned for the videos to come. I will be shooting a cooking video this weekend also.

2023 Ramping Up

Good day to all of my outdoor crew, as the title says 2023 is starting to ramp up. There will be a major announcement coming in a couple of weeks. I will say save a spot on your calendar for May 12th – 14th. More to come on that soon. Also, new gear is showing up as we speak to make my overland/truck camping setup go much easier and faster. Also, I have downsized some of my gear to make more room in the truck. I was getting to the point I need a trailer or a bigger truck. With all of that said the year is shaping up already. My main goal is to do a lot more camping this year and get out to more places and hope to get out of Tennessee into more of Kentucky Alabama and maybe even into North Carolina at some point this year.
