Took a little drive over the weekend and hit up a couple of different parks. Yes there are videos coming soon.
The first park I went to was Stones River National Battlefield in Murfreesboro TN.
The second park I went to was Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester, TN. This one I am looking at going back to camp soon.
I am editing the videos now and should have the first one up this week. I also stumbled up on another place while I was there. Stay tuned for that one also.
It is time to put all the new gear to the test. I will be headed to Montgomery Bell State Park near Dickson TN this weekend. Will be rolling out all the latest gear and seeing if it all performs as it should. I am pumped and nervous all at the same time. Plan on rolling in around 2-3pm and taking my time setting it all up. On another note I camped at Montgomery Bell back in the late 80’s so it will be good to set foot in an old campground from back in my Scouting days. Stay tuned for the videos to come. I will be shooting a cooking video this weekend also.

Well, Saturday began my exploration of DBNF. While we only covered 39 miles in a little over 4 hours in the forest, we saw a lot. So now I am looking at this fall exploring and staying in DBNF. I am looking at putting together a couple of days in the forest exploring and camping along the way. Thanks to Bill for tagging along and navigating the trails. While neither of us got to encounter the wildlife we wanted to (he a rattlesnake, me a bear) we did see a mama and baby deer together on the trail. I am sure at some point we will get to see them in due time. Daniel Boone covers 21 counties of eastern Kentucky and more 708,oo0 acres of national forest and 600 miles of trails. What a weekend, the YouTuber Meet-up was a success. We even had one come in, all the way from Pennsylvania. Video out in two weeks. Here are some pics from the weekend.
Took a little day trip to Land Between the Lakes today and here are some of the pictures I shot while there. There will be a video in a few weeks Stay tuned for that.
My first campout of 2022 is in the books. Shot a video that will be up next week. Also, shot a few photos while I was there also. Went to Edger Evins State Park in Silver Point, TN. It is a very unique park because its camping site is all elevated on the sides of hills. You also have to anchor your tents with either screws or nails. Here are a few of the pictures.
I am so stoked that this weekend is our first campout of 2022, there will be videos coming from this. It is going to be a little cool but sunny. Will be trying a few things out and we will see how these things go. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
