Ilford HP5, Now I am a B&W Hooked!!!

Ilford HP5 is a popular black-and-white film among photographers who enjoy shooting with film. This film is known for its versatility, as it can be used in various lighting situations and still produce great results. Whether you are shooting in low light or bright sunlight, HP5 can give you the level of detail and contrast that you need to create stunning images.

One of the benefits of shooting with film is the ability to experiment with different types of film. With HP5, you can achieve a classic, timeless look that is hard to replicate with digital photography. The grain structure of HP5 gives your photos a unique texture that can add depth and character to your images.

When shooting with HP5, it is essential to pay attention to your exposure and development techniques. Overexposure can result in blown-out highlights, while underexposure can cause your images to lack detail. Developing your film correctly can also impact the final outcome of your images. However, with some practice and experimentation, you can master the art of shooting with HP5 and produce stunning results that are sure to impress.

5 Camping Tools I Never Used, Despite Thinking I Would!

Camping is a fun and exciting activity that allows you to explore the outdoors and connect with nature. However, it can also be challenging if you are not fully prepared with the right tools and equipment. Oftentimes, people tend to overpack and bring items that they never end up using. Here are five camping tools that you may think you need, but you probably won’t end up using.

Church with a View

My town has a church where I had the pleasure of walking through the doors. Now this is a modern-day church and in a time where we are building a big mega church, this is really not that. It is a modern look with real taste and not just a square box.

Brick and Wood Front

So you would think it would stop that but when you walk into the sanctuary of the church you are faced with floor-to-ceiling windows looking at the woods behind the church. Now being the outdoorsy person that I am, this warmed my heart.

Inside View

In a time we try to build a thing that takes away our woods and nature, it is good to see someone trying to not only blend in but show off instead of taking away.

MTO Productions, Wait What

โ€ƒโ€ƒSo in May of 2023 I decided to launch another YouTube Channel, yeah that’s right I don’t have enough to do these days why not add something else to my plate. So you may be asking what the hell is MTO Productions, the answer is simple. MTO Production is what I call it when filming or shooting photography for the other channel. So I use this channel to talk about the equipment and techniques. Now you also have to know I am 100% trained by the highest institution in the world, YouTube, and well with lots and lots of trial and error.

โ€ƒโ€ƒSo below I am going to drop a couple of videos from that channel and will start uploading them here when they come out. The upload schedule on that channel is every other week and not weekly. Gives me more time to work on those videos and help explain my madness. So yeah that is MTO Productions in a nutshell. So I hope you follow along. Till next time see you later.

Going Wide Angle!!!

That’s right all, I am going wide angle lens with the 5D Mark ii. Hopped on KEH to look for a 200-dollar or less lens and found the Canon 20-35mm F/3.5-4.5 USM EF Mount Lensย in excellent condition. Boy howdy was this thing clean as hell, looked almost like new. So I tossed it on the 5D the day after I received it and took the shots below. The first two shots were shot at 20mm.

20mm

The next shot was at 35mm.

35mm

So going into 2024 I will be shooting some cool super wide angle shots and amazing landscape shots. So thanks to Ashley at KEH for suggesting the lens hits the spot.
