The Best Scenic Drives in Land Between the Lakes: A YouTube Playlist Journey

Land Between the Lakes (LBL) is a beautiful area that spans more than 170,000 acres of forested land and more than 300 miles of shoreline. It’s located in Western Kentucky and Tennessee and offers a wide range of outdoor activities to visitors. One popular activity that you can enjoy at LBL is off-roading. Winter Prep For Spring Camping

Winter may seem like an unlikely time to think about camping, but it can actually be a great opportunity to prepare for your springtime outdoor adventures. There are a few things you can do during the winter months to ensure that you’re ready for your next camping trip.

Firstly, you can use the winter months to research potential camping locations. Look for campgrounds that are open in the spring and summer months, and read reviews from other campers to get an idea of what to expect. You can also research hiking trails and other outdoor activities in the area to plan your itinerary.

Secondly, use the winter months to check and repair your camping gear. Inspect your tent, sleeping bags, and other camping equipment for any signs of wear and tear, and make any necessary repairs. This will ensure that your gear is in good condition and ready to use when you head out into the wilderness.

Going Wide Angle!!!

That’s right all, I am going wide angle lens with the 5D Mark ii. Hopped on KEH to look for a 200-dollar or less lens and found the Canon 20-35mm F/3.5-4.5 USM EF Mount Lensย in excellent condition. Boy howdy was this thing clean as hell, looked almost like new. So I tossed it on the 5D the day after I received it and took the shots below. The first two shots were shot at 20mm.

20mm

The next shot was at 35mm.

35mm

So going into 2024 I will be shooting some cool super wide angle shots and amazing landscape shots. So thanks to Ashley at KEH for suggesting the lens hits the spot.
