Worrier Games

Our high school JORTC competed in the Worrier Games this weekend. So I grabbed up my Canon 5D Mark II and 24-105 L Lens and took off to the field to capture the moments.

Most of these kids are our future military and judging by the what they were leaving on the field and I mean leaving it out there.

They were also were putting feet to the track also. I would say these young men and women will be great fighters for our great country.

Harman Phoenix 200

So I finally got to shoot a roll of Phoenix 200 while in Chattanooga TN recently.

I was quite surprised by what I got. The color is very bright and very sharp. Can it be a little punchy, sure yes but it has a cool vibe to it I think.

Halation, yep it has it and it is proud of it. In fact they will tell you it is going to be there so that there is no surprise it is there.

My final take on this film is really cool vibe with punchy color and a very artistic vibe to it. I will be picking more of this up for future shooting and would recommend it for anyone.

Harman Phoenix 200 was shot on a Pentax P30 using a 28-70 zoom lens.

First Trip to Blue Ridge Mountains

So we are headed for the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia, never been there before so don’t know what to expect. what I do know is that they are apart of the Smoky Mountain chain. I will be scouting out for future adventures to this area so stay tuned for that.

MTO Productions

What is MTO Productions you might ask, well short answer is it is my production company I am starting. One of the things I love to do is edit video and photography. The second thing I love to do is play with tech and gear for filming and photography. I also like buying older tech and making it work in todays world of more advanced gear out there. I also like going over what myself as a one man crew uses to capture my adventures. So come check out what I have going on over there and let me know what you think. Link will be below.

About to get Busy

As I write this we are on the road headed to Georgia for a quick trip. With that said there are some big trips coming. One of which will put me into South Carolina.

This trip my turn into way more as I am still planing it out. Thinking out loud here may come back through Georgia and possibly camp in GA while here. That would put me camping in two different states that I have never camped before. That would also put me camping for four days and three nights.

I look at this being my true shot at taking this full time sooner than later. This will test my determination at becoming a full time YouTuber and social media influencer. Maybe it is time to turn my focus to more about what my goal is, but only faith and time will tell. Thanks for reading this and following along with me.

Chattanooga

Well as this trip comes to a close, I want to post some pictures and let you know there will be a video coming soon. While on this trip we also hit a milestone on YouTube. We are now sitting 1700 subscribers. Getting close to that 2K. So here are the pictures from the trip.

A100 Landscape Shots

So, on Sunday I had lunch with Bill discussing our next off-road adventure. So I grabbed my Sony with hopes of doing a little landscape photography with it on the way back home, one of the perks of living near the lake is the lake. So below are the land/waterscape photos I shot. Enjoy

Am I a Sony Boy Now??

Let me start with no I am not converting from my beloved Canons to Sony, but I found something interesting about Sony’s first digital camera. There is a lot of Monilota in this bad boy. So after reading up on these cameras and hearing how robust they are and even to this day can shoot some really good pictures. I hopped on the old eBay and searched for one. Now you can find good deals on these from online retailers and you are taking a chance on whether this is good or not and do what I did. So over the next few months, I will be shooting with this camera and doing my thing with it. So stay tuned. Below I will be dropping some of my early pics from the A100.
