Living near old Hickory Lake in Mount Juliet, Tennessee over the last 20 years I have come to the conclusion who is the best fisherman is on the lake and that would be the sandhill crane.
I have watched these birds standing on the shores and just inches in the water for what seems like ours until the next thing you know they strike and they catch their prey. I’ve seen these birds stand in pouring rain and in bright sunny days fishing for their next catch.
So this is why I call the sandhill crane the best fisherman I have ever seen in action. So how dare you to find a better fisherman on the water?
